Important Information for intending travelers to Ghana
All travellers to Ghana are required to be in possession of a valid passport or travelling document establishing their identity.
Visas may be granted to personnel of international organizations and visitors to Ghana for tourism, study, business or transit.
The visa may be granted for Single or Multiple Entry.
NB
Multiple Entry visa endorsed for twelve (12) months, for example, means the applicant is granted unlimited entries into Ghana within twelve months of the date of issue of the visa. It does not entitle the applicant to enter and remain in Ghana for twelve months. On each entry into Ghana, the period of permitted stay in Ghana will be endorsed by Ghana Immigration at the point of entry.
People who enter Ghana ostensibly as visitors are not permitted to take any form of employment (paid or unpaid) or engage themselves in any form of business activities in Ghana.
Persons without any means of financial support, undesirable persons and prohibited immigrants may not be granted visas to Ghana.
You are welcome to contact the Consulate should you require additional information.
